SmartScreen says "unknown publisher" when I install. Is it safe?
Yes. Our current builds are not yet signed with an EV certificate (coming shortly). Click "More info" → "Run anyway". Once we're EV-signed the warning disappears.
The app opens but Connect does nothing.
Three things to check: (1) you're signed in and email-verified, (2) your webcam is granted permission in Windows Privacy settings, (3) you uploaded a reference image before clicking Connect. If all three are fine, email us with the DevTools console output (Ctrl+Shift+I in the app).
My character looks distorted / hands are mangled.
Real-time AI has limits on fast motion and occlusion. Try slower deliberate gestures, better front-facing lighting, and don't cross your hands in front of your face. See our full tips below.
How do I add L00P to OBS?
Open the output window in L00P (Studio → Open output window). In OBS: Sources → + → Window Capture → select "L00P Output". Resize to fit your canvas.
Can I use L00P on Mac or Linux?
Not yet. Windows is the only supported platform right now. Mac is next. Email support@loopstream.cc to be notified.
How do I pay? What currencies?
Cards and Nigerian bank transfers via Paystack. Nigerian cards are billed in ₦. International cards are converted automatically by Paystack.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, unused wallet balance can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Email us with your account email and reference.
Does L00P record my video?
No. Video streams peer-to-peer between your webcam and the AI provider for real-time transformation. Nothing is stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I uninstall?
Windows Settings → Apps → search "L00P" → Uninstall. Your account and wallet balance remain - sign back in from a fresh install to restore them.
Tips for better transformations
· Use a portrait-orientation reference image (face fills most of the frame).
· Light your face evenly from the front. Backlit / side-lit setups confuse the AI.
· Keep your face in the center of the webcam. Don't lean off-frame.
· Slow, deliberate gestures track better than fast motion.
· For non-human characters (cats, dinosaurs), expect more artifacts around the mouth and hands. That's inherent to real-time AI right now.
